The best explanation for this day is : Cold & Uneventful. Started off late with skippers meeting at 10 :00. I twas realy good to catch up with old friends and meet a lot of new faces. My favorite new face would have to be Momo. His real name is Sylvian MAurin i think but he goes by Momo, think he is just over 40 , he has grey and black hair, easily falling under the ‘Freshly F**kd’ category. He kindof looks half asleep most of the time but his s
eyes are the naughtiest ive ever seen. When he is around you know somethings about to happen. For sure a great guy. Also the race director or should i say, the man who makes things happen at this event. We had the funniest skippers meeting ever. Its freezing and kindof raining, everyone stading around shivering and Momo is in the front with a whiteboard and a plank directing what its all about ,in mainly french and some cheeky rugged english. He kindof made people randomly explode into fits of laughter every few minutes. This was the highlight of the day because the rest of teh day consited of sitting , freezing and waiting. We got let of the hook around 4 and went home to have an early night ! The next day was our only hope for wind and if it came we had to be ready. Frenchi’s mom made us a killer spaghetti bolognaise and Taro, alex and i finished it all. Every single bit. I think she was rather shocked. All good. LIghts out
